Empty Graves - Arcane Locked Door....

Hello,

My players are in the Sepulcher and have arrived at the arcane locked door. One of them actually just died when confronting the Sceaduinar in the other room and as soon as they get back from resting in town, they are heading back to the arcane locked door to figure out how to open it. The party has no casters in it. How are they supposed to open this door? any ideas? The disable device is DC 40, so that's not happening.


My players wacked down the doors. The barbarian got his two-handed sword, and they bashed it until it was detroyed about two minutes later.
Of course, this alerted the entire place of their presence.

The door has hardness-9 and 60 hit points. If your party still has the adamantine weapon found in book-1, it should only take a few rounds to bash it down. Otherwise it may take longer to break.

If no one can cast from a scroll of knock, maybe you can buy an oil of knock (not sure if thats a real item, but you can houserule it)


Yeah, unfortunately they sold that weapon. Heh, guess it's going to be interesting.
