I'm running a PbP Kingmaker game on the boards, and I'm disappointed in the lack of a good regional map, so I've been working on a hex map of the region this AP takes place in using Inkscape. So far I've got a rough sketch of the geography for the aforementioned area of the map as well as rough political borders. I'm starting to add more detail to the physical geography of the region, but I wanted to share what I have so far. I'll keep this updated every few days with my work, and when it's at a reasonable point, I'll open the GoogleDoc so everyone can use it (unless someone has a more share-friendly system, this is what I've got).
Issues I'm aware of:
Iobaria's map is not oriented true north. My reference image wouldn't fit correctly with that for Brevoy unless it was about 10 degrees skewed toward the northeast.
No scale, no key, no political stuff. In fact, the map may be horribly out of scale for all I know.
Inkscape isn't the most beautiful program for building a map, but it's doing an okay job, I think.
I'm aware that other people have done similar projects, but I have free time and wanted to give it a shot. If anyone has comments or critiques, please let me know.

Great map. Reminds me that the Castrovin Sea should have played a much bigger part in regional politics.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!
-Added in the different encounters from the books as icons on the map.
-Refined physical geography details.
-Adjusted the Brevoy/Stolen Lands border.
-Moved a couple of Cities.
If anyone has a better site for sharing high-resolution images, that'd be greatly appreciated. A lot of the detail gets stomped in GoogleDocs.

This is fantastic. I've been considering running Kingmaker, but got really lost in the georgraphy while reading through it, leaving me generally confused about how all of the maps line up, what the neighboring countries are, that sort of thing. (This is my first foray into Golarion based APs, so I have no background knowledge about the countries/areas described in the AP).
This map really helps me get a better feel for where everything is, how things fit together, and gives a much better sense of scale as far as the size of these nations. So thanks a lot for posting!

....or I would be, if I could get this thing to let me copy into a bitmap or jpeg so I could view it at home (no internet at the house aside from the smartphone, which is way too small a screen to view this).
