Bonuses of Small Creatures Vs. Large Creatures

Rules Questions

i thought there was a rule of Small Creatures getting a bonus against large, or Larger creatures

or Medium and huge ect ect

i can be very mistaken on this but if there is info i would like some help

Size bonuses and penalties are listed in the Core Rulebook (and Bestiaries).

Tiny creatures get a +2 to Attacks and AC, and a -2 to CMB and CMD.
Small creatures get +1/-1
Medium creatures are at +/-0
Large creatures get -1/+1
Huge creatures get -2/+2

Edit: ah, I see what you mean. No, there is no general rule beyond what I just mentioned. Some creatures (like Gnomes) gain additional benefits against some creatures (like Giants), but that is specific to those creature types.

well yes that but i thought specifically if they are going up against a monster like 2 size categories or larger

again im probably mistaken

What you are probably thinking of may be the size bonuses to attack and AC. Creatures smaller than medium get increasingly higher bonuses to attack and AC while creatures larger than medium get penalties to attack and AC.

Of course, there could be a feat or special ability that gives smaller creatures such a bonus.

hm alright. maybe it was some another system i was thinking of

As mentioned, those bonuses are built into their stat blocks, so the bonus to hit for being tiny applies, as does the penalty to AC for being large, which makes it very easy for tiny critters to hit large ones, but not so easy for large critters to hit tiny ones.

There are a few movement related situations, like creatures tiny and smaller can enter the square of any opponent (in fact, they have to if they want to melee). Also, creatures more than 2 sizes apart can enter each other's squares, so a small halfling can enter a huge giant's square. Still provokes, of course, but a medium human cannot even do it.
