Cudgeler Style + Lead blades

Rules Questions

Dark Archive

Hi everybody.

If I'm using Lead blades and Cudgeler Style with the same strike, what's happen? My weapon deals damage as if it were two size category larger or only one because the effets doesn't stack.

Cudgeler style
Prerequisite(s): Bludgeoner.
Benefit: When you hit with a charge attack to deal nonlethal damage while using this style, your weapon deals damage as if it were one size category larger than it actually is. If you have the ability to make more than one attack on a charge, this increase applies only to your first attack.

Lead Blades
DESCRIPTION
Lead blades increases the momentum and density of your melee weapons just as they strike a foe. All melee weapons you are carrying when the spell is cast deal damage as if one size category larger than they actually are. For instance, a Medium longsword normally deals 1d8 points of damage, but it would instead deal 2d6 points of damage if benefiting from lead blades (see table below). Only you can benefit from this spell. If anyone else uses one of your weapons to make an attack it deals damage as normal for its size.

Scarab Sages

Per the new FAQ, I think it would be one step, because they wouldn't stack. Neither of them actually increase the size.

Size increases and effective size increases: How does damage work if I have various effects that change my actual size, my effective size, and my damage dice?

As per the rules on size changes, size changes do not stack, so if you have multiple size changing effects (for instance an effect that increases your size by one step and another that increases your size by two steps), only the largest applies. The same is true of effective size increases (which includes “deal damage as if they were one size category larger than they actually are,” “your damage die type increases by one step,” and similar language). They don’t stack with each other, just take the biggest one. However, you can have one of each and they do work together (for example, enlarge person increasing your actual size to Large and a bashing shield increasing your shield’s effective size by two steps, for a total of 2d6 damage).

They are both effective size increases, therefore they don't stack with each other. Either would stack with Enlarge Person, though.

Ok, i think that's answered my question.

thanks.
