Familiar Delivering Touch Spells - Can they give them back?

Rules Questions

So I've been looking around and I haven't been able to find anything definitive, so I figured I might as well ask. According to the Deliver Touch Spells ability for familiars:

Deliver Touch Spells (Su): If the master is 3rd level or higher, a familiar can deliver touch spells for him. If the master and the familiar are in contact at the time the master casts a touch spell, he can designate his familiar as the “toucher.” The familiar can then deliver the touch spell just as the master would. As usual, if the master casts another spell before the touch is delivered, the touch spell dissipates.

Which means when I cast Shocking Grasp or the like, I can have the familiar go do it for me. With that in mind, is it possible to change my mind and have the familiar give the spell back to me so that I can deliver it instead?

Did you designate your familiar as the "toucher" at the time you cast the spell ? If so, there is no mention of any provision to revoke that choice at a later time.

Well your familliar CAN give it back to you if you insist, but I'm not sure you'd like the result. :)

Dang, I was just about to make that joke. ;)
