Paizo.com will be offline for scheduled maintenance starting at 4:00 PM Pacific time on Tuesday, March 31.

The downtime is estimated to last about 6 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Is anyone else slightly concerned about all this downtime just ahead of April Fool's Day?

I wasn't.

But I am now.

Is the the Maintenance Release that Scott and Chris have been mentioning in the last week or so? Or upgraded servers? Or Both?

You should not find this concerning.

Yes this is the maintenance release Scott was speaking of (and possibly Chris, not sure what she may have been promising, although I suspect Unicorns). It is also the maintenance release I've been refusing to give a date on, although now that it's splashed across the site header I can probably, uhm, relax the security a bit.

We are not upgrading any servers, our current round of gerbils have been quite zesty and we see no need to replace them.

The duration is because of a whole mess of data migration scripts, anyone who has worked in the industry knows of which I speak and will weep for us. The rest of you can continue to regard us with guarded suspicion as per normal :)

Well, I, for one, feel much better with this post. I've always assumed NSA stood for "Nothing Sinister At-All" and this verifies it!!

Oh goodness Yes!! I was a mainframe system support programmer from 1991 till I retired year end 2009 and spent many a Sunday all night (12 hour windows) when a new release had to be installed.

Good luck to all tonight.

We all need to sacrifice to make this happen.

Having some problem with sidebars not showing up, and the main page is completely blank save for the header and shopping cart. Going to try clearing my cache and see if that helps any.

Edit: Seems to have done it. Will let you know if anything else crops up.

Hmmmm, things should be presenting normally, TriOmegaZero let me know if you continue to have issues.

Is there a reason that the "search thread" is not working on the recruitment threads? I tried it on two, but neither worked. It seems to work fine on the Campaign and Discussion threads.

Hopefully this is the right place to post this.

I missed the goblins! Alas! :/

Would this be the proper forum to report a missing PFS Session? I printed out my GM & Player history yesterday before the maintenance and I am now missing a session from Nov 6, 2013. If this is not the right forum, please advise where to report this? Thanks!

Yeah, we have a search issue we're aware of and working on.

I'm also having a problem pulling up the Paizo Blog tab. It gives me a redirect timeout error.
