Metamagic feat for walls?

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I've looked, but not found, a RAW metamagic feat that will increase the size of walls or other spells that create an area of effect made up of 10' cubes. Anyone know if I am missing something or is that simply an option that has been overlooked?

Well thats fairly specific, so no metamagic feats, but you could always use spell specialization. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/spell-specialization

There is also Gifted Adept.

Obviously, this metamagic doesn't apply, but I noticed something interesting while looking around:

Quote:

Widen Spell (Metamagic)

You can cast your spells so that they occupy a larger space.

Benefit: You can alter a burst, emanation, or spread-shaped spell to increase its area. Any numeric measurements of the spell's area increase by 100%. A widened spell uses up a spell slot three levels higher than the spell's actual level.
Spells that do not have an area of one of these four sorts are not affected by this feat.

Heh.

Btw, does anyone ever take this metamagic feat? +3 seems like a pretty big spell slot boost.

Widen spell can be a good (lesser) metamagic rod for when you need a *huge* Fireball or Black Tentacles to take out an army of mooks. +3 is pretty steep.

Interestingly, RAW doesn't list a price for the widen metamagic rod, at least that I can find. I assume it would sell for 14k, like all the other +3 slot level rods.
