Using Magical Knack to qualify for Arcane Strike

Rules Questions

I've got the Magical Talent trait assigned to Open/Close.
I'd like to know if I can use this talent to qualify for the Arcane Strike feat.

Not anymore, unfortunately.

As it should have been from the beginning. Having spell-like abilities does not make you a spell caster.

I agree with it not qualifying for prestige classes, but arcane strike would have been fine.

I thought that this thread would be about magical knack. Huh, silly me, I guess.

That being said, if I've got a level 5 character, let's say Bard 3, Ranger 2 with the Magical knack trait, would Arcane Strike give me a +1 or +2 to damage?

I think the thread is about using magical knack to qualify for arcane strike but I could be wrong.

As for your question, it depends. Can the caster level from magical knack power arcane strike if it doesn't qualify for the feat requirements? Pure RAW would say yes. You have the feat legally and (I'm assuming) an arcane caster level from magical knack.
