juggling bomb chucker

Advice

I just read thru the ranged toolbox and saw the juggler archtype. Was wondering if there was a way to use bombs effective with this. Think of the jester from gauntlet video game.

What exactly are you trying to do with it?

Do NOT fail the check.

Juggle bombs and do décent damage with them.

You can do good damage with bombs without ever touching the Juggler.

So I suppose I should rephrase: what are you actually trying to gain from Juggler?

The way bombs work, natively, they're totally outside the effects of anything the Juggler does unless you decide you want to combine them with other thrown weapons. Which... why would you? Bombs are far and away the best thrown weapons in the game.

Grand Lodge

If you want to make an area go completely nuclear, you can do it with pure alchemist.

Human Alchemist 9 (8 if you retrain 7th level feat)
1 Point Blank Shot
1 Precise Shot
3 Two Weapon Fighting
5 Rapid Shot
7 (most likely extra bomb, even in PFS)
9 Improved Two Weapon Fighting

Discovery: Fast Bomb

Extract: Haste (could also be a friendly spellcaster or boots of speed)

This lets you chuck 6 bombs a turn at level 9, at a +8/+8/+8/+8/+3/+3, of course you only have like 15 bombs so this is not something you can do a lot of.

The juggler archtype olis solely for the juggling of the bombs part so mostly m'y own amusement. Just idea of a guy walking around jugglibg bombs is funny as heck to me.

You'd need to do it with Alchemist's Fire then, because by the RAW bombs Don't Work That Way. You make them and throw them immediately.

That sucks alchemist fire does do much damage.

Personally, how I'd run it if you only care about the image is just go straight Alchemist and give him a habit of walking around tossing an inert bomb in one hand.

But there's no realistic way to get the mechanics to line up.

Darn, thanks for your help.
