Some advice to mix things up for WotR

Wrath of the Righteous

So, I'm running two solo campaigns in WotR right now. The first one I'm running (fairly) close to the book, albeit rebalanced for a single gestalt character and changing the asinine rule that the Touched by Divinity trait makes you the child of Iomedae regardless of your actual worshipped god. That one is just now entering Drezen Citadel.

However, my second one is just starting up and the player has run WotR up to the end of book 2. Ergo, I'm looking for some more ideas to change it up so to speak. So far, I've switched Aravashniel for a discovered Androffan alien collected from Faxon's tower, replaced Horgus with an Mwangi noble who's a young womanizer, and intend to switch Sosiel, Aron, and Nurah out as well with new NPC's. Arushelae is being replaced with a marilith.

I've also swapped Deskari with Lamashtu, and Baphomet with Haagenti. What other fun ideas can I use to help toss things?

EDIT: I should note that the game is adult and as such, succubi, Nocticula, Socothbenoth, etc., will be played much more to the hilt, and at the same time... so will Lamashtu. Murder and torture are possible, but is rape and forced demonic pregnancy, because why would Lamashtu NOT want a mythic mother to birth more monsters?

While you probably already have, have you considered having both solo player's play together? Perhaps your second player wouldn't mind replaying Drezen?

EDIT: Seems like they're both already familiar with the same amount of WotR.

That's a no. Both players are friends and talk together and everything, but both have very different stories for this and are their own particular hero of the story.

The first one hasn't ever cracked open the WotR books, the second one has read and run WotR through books 1 and 2, and read all of book 3. That's why I'm changing up her particular story for her.

Mostly just looking for more ideas to alter and change things beyond what I already have. Definitely would like any suggestions on replacing Sosiel, Nurah, Aron and Galfrey. Wouldn't mind suggestions for Eustoryax and Staunton too, though I have already replaced Soltengrebbe with Benjamin Thoribald Kysosis Greorg, the mythic beholder who was Aponavicius pet (and the only LE creature in Drezen, highly intelligent and a potential redeemable creature.)

The reason Arushelae is being replaced by a marilith is because her character, under the Chance Encounter trait, was forced into gladiator combat by Aponavicius for several years before being rescued, and as such hates and despises mariliths... when she finds out it was one (that worships her mother no less) that frees her, fun drama ensues ^_^

Do you have the Worldwound campaign setting book? There are tons of one paragraph or longer ideas in there. Lots to go off of to spark ideas and nearly none of it is used in the AP.

Ooh, I can grab that. I'm also thinking of replacing Xanthir with a drider... that player has a love/hate relationship with driders heh. And I'm definitely changing the Woundwyrm to a resurrected red dragon that was Aponavicius pet as the idea I saw in other thread was great. Making that a potential redeemed (as there's 1 risen red dragon in Golarion history, so a second could awesome) dragon sounds awesome.

I don't suppose anyone would have ideas for good stat blocks/abilities for Haagenti/Lamashtu? I know Lamashtu is an actual goddess, so I expect her to look more dangerous and powerful than Deskari.
