Does Molten Orb affect swarms?

I play a Thassilonian Specialist Sloth wizard (Conjurer) and have very few options for swarms, as Evocation is forbidden to me. I am looking for spells to combat swarms and ran across Molten Orb:

"You create a fist-sized, red-hot ball of molten metal that you immediately hurl as a splash weapon. A direct hit deals 2d6 points of fire damage. Every creature within 5 feet of where the ball hits takes 1d6 points of fire damage from the splash (Reflex half). Each of these creatures takes an additional 1d6 points of fire damage on its turn for the next 1d3 rounds, unless it is cooled off (with water, snow, or any effect that deals 5 or more points of cold damage)."

Does this spell affect swarms?

Also on the same topic does Silver Darts affect swarms?

"A cone of silver darts springs from your hand. These darts act as a silver weapon that deals 1d6 points of piercing damage per caster level (maximum 10d6). Any creature with an armor bonus greater than +4 or a natural armor bonus greater than +4 takes 50% less damage."

If the answer is no for these, would A swarmbane clasp change the answer?

PRD: "A swarm is immune to any spell or effect that targets a specific number of creatures (including single-target spells such as disintegrate), with the exception of mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms) if the swarm has an Intelligence score and a hive mind. A swarm takes half again as much damage (+50%) from spells or effects that affect an area, such as splash weapons and many evocation spells."

Molten Orb (Transmutation spell): Ranged Attack - So I'd say no to the 2d6 "Direct" damage, but yes to the 1d6 + 50% Splash damage. I'd also allow the swarm to catch on fire and take 1d6 +50% damage each round.

Silver Darts: Cone-Shaped Burst. Sounds like an area effect spell to me.

Pellet Blast is also an area effect conjuration spell.

Does the spell affect an area? If yes, it affects a swarm.

Swarmbane clasp does not affect spells (unless the spell grew you a nice set of claws).

Swarmbane clasp does not affect spells (unless the spell grew you a nice set of claws).

The spell creates a splash weapon which you throw as part of the spell.

You create a fist-sized, red-hot ball of molten metal that you immediately hurl as a splash weapon.

A splash weapon is defined as a ranged weapon. Being a weapon, it should work with the swarmbane clasp.
