Wrath of the Righteous Characters - name your bracket!

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

So far we've had the following confirmed for Wrath

Adowyn, Human Hunter
Alain, Human Cavalier
Balazar, Gnome Summoner
Crowe, Human Bloodrager
Enora, Halfling Arcanist
Shardra Geltl, Dwarf Shaman
Imrijka, Female Half-Orc Inquisitor
Kyra, Human Cleric
Seelah, Human Paladin

That's only nine of the eleven we will be seeing between the base set and the character add-on deck.

I would be interested to hear your conjecture as to whom may be included in those last 2 bracket spots?

Personally I would not be surprised to see Sajan, as his new miniature has a card that seems to indicate we have a new version of the character on the way soon.

Sovereign Court

I expect to see Merisiel as she is one of the four iconics in the RPG adventure. Some people don't like her getting a fourth iteration, but regardless, I think she will be along for the ride. For that same reason I expect to see Seoni (I think she was in the RPG path)

I hope Sajan as well partly for the card, and partly just because I feel a monk works for the path. The card may be an indication that a Monk class deck is coming, not a Wrath Sajan, but I'm hoping it means both!

Ranzak and Ekkie. What do I win?

Ranzak is SS... Completely wrong.

Ekkie is character #13.
So 11 and 12 are missing.

Reward: one choco bar!

Treasures that would please any Magpie!

Wrath is where we get mythics, right? I feel like there was a mythic-related picture of Amiri and Sajan Fighting Dinosaurs. Was that a Wrath thing?

If so, Sajaan and Amiri would seem logical

You are missing Zadim....

I believe Zadim was touted as being included early, but made way for the Inquisitor.

But this is Tanis that told us Ranzak and Ekkie! She would never lie to us.

Oh, man. After Wrath and the new class decks come out, there will be 60+ character cards for PACG. When they are all out, we are totally making a NCAA-style character bracket. Tanis, I will write that blog post in the fall.

Sovereign Court

Mike, you just gave a brilliant (OK, maybe absolutely positively unbelievably insane is more accurate) idea.

I'm going to set up that bracket, run every character through S&S solo, and... well, the explanation is long and makes no sense and is going to cause really stupid things to happen. The short version, characters will die. A lot. Some will make it all the way through. Maybe. I don't have the win condition for the bracket yet, but it's going to be something absurd like having a spellcasting Valeros in the final two with Seoni beating stuff with a Greatclub and trying to run through again.

I think the two you are missing are Seoni and Harsk. They are both pictured on the class add on deck, So I assume, if the picture is right, they are the next two

I don't think the art is final because it says 3 "new" classes. Hunter, bloodrager and shaman.

I think the box art is still not final good sir!

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Seoni or Ezren make the cut

My use of the word bracket was not accidental :)

Yes, forgot that...

We know at least the Arcanist, Inquisitor, Summoner and Cavalier will show up in the base set, which means 1 Melee specialist, 2 Arcane caster and a Divine caster. Since Imrijka is also somewhat fighting focused,

The character add-on is getting the 3 ACG classes: Bloodrager, Hunter and Shaman. Kyra and Seelah are also slated, but I can't see having 3 Divine casters in the base set (S&S _did_ have Jirelle, Merisiel and Lem to a lesser extent but Lem's got a multi-role that I don't think Imrijka has) so I think one of them will be in the character add-on (I'm hoping Seelah is in the base set and Kyra is in the CAO)

Which leaves 2 slots open. I don't see a Dex-based character; Imrijka is always depicted with a Bow so it's possible for her to be one, but her RPG stats don't exactly bear it out. There also isn't a support class in the mix in the base (I suppose maybe the Summoner and Inquisitor half-counts, maybe). I wish Quinn and Hakon were in the set but I'm highly doubtful either of them makes it in given how many ACG characters we have already.

If I were to go with what's depicted on the covers, most likely Seoni and Merisiel would be the last 2. Merisiel even satisfies the need for a Dex-based character.

Radillo... just because it was the most debated character until now and need a different version ? Hehe, just kidding, I know it has to be an iconic...

I'm almost certain this won't be the case, but I'm hoping for the Oracle to make it. Why? Because then we'll have the entire party we ran in the AP AFTER we ran WotR (which would just be funny). (That party was Cavalier, Hunter, Oracle, Summoner, Arcanist, btw. Our actual WotR team was Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Magus, Sorceror, and a Third-Party Class, so if both Merisiel and Seoni make it, we'll at least have 3/5)

I vote this

(and another Merisiel)

so no-one had Seoni / Harsk then

Sovereign Court

Not Harsk, but I had Seoni up at the top. Glad to see so many new characters.

I didn't predict Harsk, but I did say there was going to be a Dex-based character in the set.

I'm so looking forward to this!
