wondering how to use the paizo crit/fumble decks while performing combat manuevers that produce non-damaging conditions. my gut feeling tells me the gm would love to see a player pulling a fumble card after a failed combat manuever(comedy reasons and he hates manuevers). what would be done if pcs rolled natural 20's? do you confirm them?
thoughts?

Maneuvers that use CMB/CMD to determine effect do not have crit hits or fumbles. A 20 auto succeeds, and a 1 auto misses is all.
An auto success and an auto fail are "criticals" it means David could trip Goliath (on a 20) and Cthulhu could fail to enmesh an enfeebled grandmother in his tentacles (on 1). There just isn't as impressive an outcome numerically as with hitting someone.
That being said, the decks because they speak to numerical results just aren't always going to be relevant.
If you really felt obligated I would map the various combat maneuvers to damage type, like a bull rush is a bludgeoning weapon.
