Divine Pathfinders (Pharasma)

Advice

Starting a new Pathfinder game and one player wishes to be a Cleric of Pharasma. Within the scope of the lore, help us come up with good reasons why a Cleric of Pharasma would leave the clergy to become a Pathfinder? Could she have received a vision? A calling? Does the clergy feel it appropriate to commit clerics to the pathfinders as a reciprocal service?

A member of the Cleric class does not have to be a member of a member of the Clergy in Pathfinder. A Cleric could simply be a person who has a strong connection to their deity or who the deity has taken an interest in.

If your player is already a member of the clergy, they could be on "undead hunting" duty, leaving the walls of the temple to bring eternal rest to the undying. And traveling with a group of adventurers is a good way to get around even if it means occasionally putting up with some adventurer antics.
