SnB fighter (except with a cestus)

Advice

Silver Crusade

So. Another of my threads got me thinking, and then I remembered the brawler archetype for fighters. The following is an idea I had. Its a heavy shield / cestus fighter

Fighter (brawler) 9
Human, dual talented
20pt buy
Traits: indomitable will, w/e (reckless would be my choice)
Str: 18 +2 + levels
Dex: 16 +2
Con: 14
Int: 12
Wis: 12
Cha: 07

Feats:
1- improved shield bash, power attack
2-weapon focus heavy shield
3- iron will
4- weapon spec. Shield
5- twf
6- shield slam
7- combat reflexes
8- greater weapon focus heavy shield
9- stand still

Let's assume minimal gear investment.

+4 belt of strength/dex, +2 armor, +2 shield, +1 cestus. Add in cloak of resistance +2.

This gives an end build of-
To hit(shield): +19
Damage: 1d6+17 not power attacking (as two handed standard action) you then get a free bullrush attempt using your attack roll. Next round, simply let go of the shield and wield the cestus to full attack.

This also gives defense of:
HP: 76
AC: 27 (10+8+5+4) 28 counting his menacing stance (-1 to attack rolls period, well unless they are ranged or long reach)
T:13
FF:22

Saves: fort: +10 ref:+10 will:+9

and that's on a fairly low budget for a level 9.

Now this build comes online at level 1, but, it 'truly' starts to shine at level 6 when you start two-hand shield bashing people and moving them where you want them. The TWF damage is just icing. At level 11 you add magic enhancements on your shield to attack and damage, even better!

Thoughts?

In a recent game, a player used brass knuckles and a heavy shield, but they were using the Shield Champion Brawler. It worked pretty well for them.
