Eldritch Heritage like feat for Oracle Mysteries?

Advice and Rules Questions

Dark Archive

I know it doesn't exist in any Paizo official book, but is there any 3rd party or homebrew balanced rules to allow taking of a few Revelations like Eldritch Heritage does?

or maybe another way to get flaming wings on an aasimar? Basically I have an Emberkin and I want to give her Angelic Wings, but she's descended from Peri so if possible I want to find a way to make her wings flaming like her ancestor.

(ack this should have gone in the homebrew forum I think... )

A Flaming Amulet of Mighty Fists will set your wings on fire. Probably more cost than its worth, though.

There's a guide by super genius games that has one. It has a lot of other similar feats that focuses on "multi classing."

Really? How does it do that? Her wings aren't natural attacks (that takes Metallic Skin which I probably won't give her even if I do go the Aasimar feat route)

Lantern Lodge

No, but they can be used in unarmed strikes :P

UMDing a Ring of Revelation works. The srd has a note about a developer saying it doesn't, because UMD lets you pretend to be another class, but can't let you pretend to have the powers of a class.

Except, one of the UMD options is Emulate a Class Feature, and the mystery you select as an oracle is a class feature, so, uh, yeah. It works by RAW.

I thought that was FAQ'd to not work.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Just say your wings are flaming... If there's no mechanical effect, who cares about a 'rule' that allows it?

There is a difference between an item that is:

If you have this class, you can use this item. (which you can do with UMD.)

and this:

If you have this class, you can add this to the list of class abilities you have (which you can do but since you don't have the class abilities you can't use them - Ring of Revelation used via UMD).

Lately I've been using Spark of Divinity along with Emergent Divinity] to pick up Divine Portfolio(s) from the [url=http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/3rd-party-prestige-classes/super-genius-games/godling]Godling class.

Oddly enough, I'm not actually using the class, but I'm just piggybacking its class abilities.

If you couldj convince the dm, you may be able to be a "scion of ifrit"

Its a native outsider race instead of a humanoid but you could use the ignite weapon ability, which in conjunction with manifest blood would make s thematic character.
