Sorcerer Bloodline

Advice

My Friends and I are about to start a campaign using the Legacy of Fire Adventure Path. I am aware that Arcane is the typically favored bloodline for sorcerer but i was curious if there were any that'd fit into this AP thematically while being interesting themselves.

I planned to play a human and the rest of the party includes:

A LN Hobgoblin Cavalier (Fell Rider Archetype)
A NE Goblin Alchemist (Fire Bomber and Mindchemist Archetypes)
A NE Orc Witch (Scarred Witch-Doctor archetype)

As far as what I want out of my sorcerer, I am open to most ideas (though I do need to be the party Face due to being the only one with a positive Cha modifier). Also the group is predominantly themed as a group of outcasts and/or slaves while my character is meant to be the "respectable" one...

Any ideas?

i understand that orcs and gnoles are runing around the place. if you want to make a nice blaster think of this:

halforc, Crossblooded arch type with fire elemental and draconic bloodlines

pick the finding halleen campaign trait for extra hp and skill point and take the Havoc of society magical trait.
1st level pick point blank shot. and for fev class take the racial 1/2 damage point for fire spells.
at first level you can spit out fire based(fire elemental blood line) acid splash(o level range touch range of 25 5 ft/2 levels). for 1d3+1 froce+1 point blank shot +1 for draconic(red) bloodline all day long for 1d3+3. and each 2 whole levels it will get +1 for the race fev class.
this is for 0 level spitting. other damaging spells will do a lot more.
at level 1 a a 2nd level scorching ray will deal 12d6+12(dragon)+5(race)+1(force)nad if in 30 feet +1 for point blank shot for 12d6+7 with the 12 dc +12 dividable to up to 3 difrant targets.
a mere fireball at levle 10 will do 10d6+10+5+1 = 26-76 damage without any metamagic included (you an allways pull out some empower for 1/2+ daamge get a rod if you can.

Thematically, any of the bloodlines derived from geniekind are a fit. Djinni, Efreeti, Marid, Shaitan or Div. I think that last (Div) is the most interesting, flexible and powerful of the lot, but Marid has its uses, especially combined with Rime Spell.

Also I'd concentrate on control rather than blasting, the rest of the group looks good at pure damage.

Well a sorcerer is great, have you possibly considered running an Oracle instead? The reason I suggest this is that you seem to be missing an "arm" more then anything else in your party I.E. a support-type character focusing on enhancing his allies' ability to do well in combat. Both the cavileer and alchemist are clear hammers(aka damage dealers/characters concerned with dealing damage mainly) and while witches have some arm-type abilities they strike me at least as being more anvils(crowd controllers/battfield manipulators) then arms. Sadly, sorcerer dosen't have many options for playing the arm and are best as anvils or hammers(aka blasters). In all honesty if your dead set on the "fire/blaster" theme and need a high cha I'd honestly seriously consider swapping from sorcerer to Oracle and taking the flames mystery. You still get blasting, you still get thematic fire stuff, you still cast off of charisma, but at the same time get access to the cleric list's amazing buff and support spells. Further, you said your going to be the face and by and large Oracles make better faces then sorcerers because they get 4+ int skill points to the sorc's 2+ int and get diplomacy as a class skill, which sorcs need a trait to pick up otherwise. While sorcs are awesome, I really feel this party would be best served by an Oracle. However, if you are dead set on sorc a two anvil two hammer party is not all that bad and in better shape then a party with no anvils by far. So I'd recomend going with one of the suggested bloodlines in this thread and building towards battlefield control if your dead set on sorc....but Oracle is seirously worth a look here.
