Saurian druid and their shinies

Advice

Low budget campaign, money comes slow, I am a nagaji going saurian build druid. I literally have almostzero supplies atm except my armor, what items should i, need, might i, want to get that would help me for the eventual level 4 shapeshifting into combat. Any suggestions on which Saurians are the better choices?

Well you can shapeshift now with your transformation abilities and you don't get Wild Shape until lvl 6 so you are still a couple of levels off.

Gearwise:
Cloak of Resistance
Ring of Protection
Belt of Str
Headband of Wisdom
Pearl of Power lvl 1
Rod of Extend, lesser
Scrolls of utility spells

Eventually
Wild Dragonhide Fullplate or Stoneplate + Heavy Armor Prof feat
Amulet of Mighty Fists Holy or
Swarmbane Clasp or
AoMF Ghost Touch depending on your spell choices and what you are typically dealing with in your campaign.

At level 5 you can Greater Magic Fang yourself to buff all your natural attacks for 1 hour/lvl plus extend rod for double that.

One of my favorite tactics is to run around as a Deinochyous or other pouncer with Produce Flame or Frostbite up or cast first round. Then move to a pounce position and pounce next round with each attack adding damage from the spell.

I recommend retraining your level 5 feat to natural spell at level 6.

Any thoughts on w3hich large saurians ishould look at for changing into?

>bump

Saurian shamans can change into reptiles as well as saurians. That opens up snakes and crocodiles etc. Also, you get the huge saurians and reptiles right off the bat at level 6.
Large shapes:
Emperor Cobra is quite nice, it has swim and climb speeds so you can go almost anywhere. It only has one attack but the poison is quite nasty. As wildshaping druid the DC is based on your WIS.
Ptrenadon for flying around, though it is fairly clumsy flyer.
If your GM approves, the fan created megaraptor is upgraded deinonycus.
Huge shapes:
Allosaurus is probably the best all-round melee shape.
Stegosaurus has one big attack plus trip.
Megalania has one big bite with grab and really nasty poison.
If you need swim speed elasmosaurus can be handy.

There is a handy list of pathfinder animals here though it is missing Bestiary 4 monsters I think.

I recommend you get Planar wildshape asap after natural spell. It really helps your survival and the smite gives you a lot of damage potential.
If you like grabbing and tripping Powerful form is handy.
Consider dipping one level of monk for WIS to AC and free feat, Combat Reflexes if your DEX is high enough to make it useful or Improved grapple. You get +2 to all saves as well, like getting three free feats :)
It does lower your BAB though so YMMV, especially if your WIS is not sky high.

hm wis is only 14 i think atm, since PFS reduces point buy but thank you very much for the cohesive listing i appreciate your input.

Keep in mind that what you turn into will depend on the situation or scenario. Even at high level Deioneichys is not a bad form if you are in a dungeon and need to fit into tight spaces.

Belt of the Weasel is another option in that situation. You would have to get Enhancement bonus to str from spell or Ioun stone but it would give you compression letting your large forms operate in enclosed spaces and your huge forms in most dungeons.
