Agile Grace

I thought of, kinda on the spot, an interesting idea for the weird swashbuckler weirdness, i know this is mostly already dealt with in home brew but i thought of something slightly different.

Agile Grace (Combat)
Pre-req: Weapon Finesse, 15 dex
While wielding a light weapon, you can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage, while wielding a one-handed weapon that is finessable you can add half your dexterity modifier to damage instead of your strength modifier. Off hand light weapon attacks can only apply up to half their dexterity mod in damage.

what do you (whom ever you are) think of this? Could it be better worded? is giving light weapons better dex stat usage just a stupid idea in general in pathfinder, or would it allow for light weapons to potentially shine?

They do this in Mythic Adventures as an ability, but I do think it should be an option for non-mythics.

Language would be cleaned up as (IIRC): "you can choose to add your Dexterity modifier/half your Dexterity modifier". Other than this, I do like the idea, but I have little theorycraft to determine if it would be OP or a feat tax or what.

I ripped the "you can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage" straight from slashing grace and i left in the "that weapon" part so you couldn't wield a light weapon and apply it to your one-handed or something.

Huh. Okay, I didn't know that. Maybe I'm going by older standards XD

it's fine, I was just clarifying. didn't feel right to say nothing, though I do feel my comment was a bit crude.

A little, but it's fine. I figured you just meant it as an explanation.
