Monk's unarmed strike and natural weapon rules

Rules Questions

If a creature has only one natural weapon, it uses x1.5 strength modifier for damage. Does that apply to monk's unarmed damage as well?

Liberty's Edge

No.

Scarab Sages

No. All unarmed strikes are treated as light weapons, not natural attacks. They always apply 1x str bonus unless there a feat such as dragon style that modifies it. Even then, they are still not natural attacks and have a normal power attack progression.

The Exchange Owner - D20 Hobbies

No

Tell you what:

Cut off your monk's other arm and tell me if the first arm gets stronger.

Gee, I'm asking a rules question, no need for sarcastic snide remarks

Grand Lodge

If you want 1.5x Strength, look into Dragon Style. Once you get Dragon Ferocity, that'll do what you want.
