I'll second(or third) the swarmbane clasp/swarmbane suit
more or less a lot of options to deal with swarms without being a fairly focused blaster
once they get over a few hit dice, it's gonna be nasty
It kind of makes swarms terrifying... like they would be if you actually ran into one. Then again, most of the things that Pathfinders encounter would be pretty terrifying.

I could easily be wrong, however.
This could also just mean first level retraining.

I believed that wording to be referring to allowing Ultimate Campaign retraining, as long as the options you are retraining into are legal for Core Campaign, as well as the free 1st level retraining.
If I am wrong then I need to make some corrections to my Core character as I have retrained a few hp's.

I believe the intent is to allow you to retrain, as long as the option you retrain into is available in one of the core sources... such as retraining a feat or a class level.
I don't think you can retrain HPs as that option only exists in a non core source.

Retraining hp is like rolling higher on your level up, rolling more than 6 on a d10 is in Core.
Only you don't roll for hp each level in PFS, so you can never get more than a 6 on a d10 (before modifiers are applied).
A d6 class get 4 hp per level (unmodified).
A d8 class get 5 hp per level (unmodified).
A d10 class get 6 hp per level (unmodified).
A d12 class get 7 hp per level (unmodified).

By that logic retrainng would be out altogether, since the only retraining available core is pretty limited. Spontaneous casters spells known, fighter bonus feats, maybe something else I'm not thinkng of right now. Rules for retrainng levels exist only in UC, as far as I know. I think Kigvan has the right of it as far as retrainng is concerned.

I was wrong on this. I didn't realize you could actually spend PP to increase your hit points. It just came up in a discussion tonight and I was corrected. This is a rather amazing revelation.

So still an option really.
If you are going to pay for the spell, better pay a cleric 150gp+50gp component - but the cheapest wonderous item in the core rulebook is 50gp so I think that ioun stone is out for core. A ring works pretty well for a permanent light source.

Three prestige per hit point, up to the maximum you could roll. For example, you could buy two hit points per level on a 1d6 class.
