Sky Key Core boon, character or player effect?

The boon in question is obtained in the Legacy of the Stonelords scenario and reads as follows:

Sky Key Core: You assisted the Pathfinder Society in the recovery of a strange relic known as the Sky Key, though it appears this is just one piece of a larger device. Each time you earn the Sky Key Component boon, you also recover one spent Prestige Point.

As it reads to me, I would say it only affects the character who obtained the boon. If you later play those scenarios with a different character, you don't get the benefit.

But being a pretty high limitation as for the characters you would like to play with certain scenarios, I wanted to make sure before telling anyone they don't get the benefit.

I'm afraid it's only limited to that character. Which is annoying for me, because I played it with a level 9 character.
