Oracle wind mystery: gaseous form revelation

Rules Questions

Hi,

I have a question about the oracle wind mystery; the gaseous form revelation in particular. I first posted this in the advice forum, but got no replies. In hindsight, this may have been because the rules form was more appropriate. In the quotes, any boldfaced typesetting is mine.

This passage refers to the gaseous form spell:

You may have already guessed my question.

Since my character loses all supernatural abilities, woudn't she also lose her supernatural revelation to move around in gaseous form?

Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Ummmm do you really think that the devs parsed text that closely to have even considered the issue you are bringing up?

Whether or not you are correct (and it sounds like you are to me), I am pretty sure the devs didn't intend the situation you are postulating.

And even if you played PFS, I strongly doubt that you will ever be at a table where this particular rules-Fu is ever invoked.

My advice would be to totally ignore the issue you have brought up, and to play it like everyone else does: Basically you can assume gasesous form like the spell, and just treat everything as if you had simply cast the spell, as opposed to worrying about this point.
