It’s happening - SkalCon Online Registration is open!
Just log onto the registration.skalcon.org site to register for the event, taking place October 9th - 11th 2020! SkalCon Online has a suggested donation of $10.00, but you can choose your donation amount to be what you are comfortable with. As always, proceeds from SkalCon will go directly to Tubman.
At this time, only people volunteering to GM can sign up for events on the schedule. Remember, GMs choose the Virtual Table Top system they would prefer to use - so don’t be afraid to GM! SkalCon organizers will offer support for setting up your games, as well.
After GMs have some time to get signed up for their tables, we announce when player sign-ups will be turned on. However, you don’t have to wait until then to get registered for the convention and plan your schedule.
Keep an eye out for our special guest tables! Our special guests this year include Organized Play Manager Tonya Wondridge, Starfinder Society Developer Thurston Hillman, Organized Play Associate Alex Speidel, and authors Kate Baker, Dennis Muldoon, Jenny Jarzabski, and Vanessa Hoskins.
SkalCon Online will be coordinating using Discord, so be sure to join the 10,000 Lakes Gaming Discord before the convention (and watch us build out our channel functionality in real time!)

Folks,
I am happy to announce that GM signups have been going really well! We've filled most of our PFS2 scenario tables, and a good deal of the others, but the are plenty of opportunities to run games!
We really need folks that are willing to run a bunch of quests or bounties as we think these will be great for drop in last minute gamers!
As an incentive to our GMs, you will be given a week's head start on selecting your games to play!
GMs will be able to sign up as a player for tables starting on Monday, with a limit of 1 player table per GMing table, until general ticket sales opens on labor day.

Of note, though,
While we have had a fantastic turnout for PF2 GMs, and good turnout for SFS, we have had almost no volunteers for PF1. We also need a lot of folks to run quests and bounties.
So, if it looks like there are a lot of games on the schedule that you cannot sign up to PLAY at, this is why. We a have published our full schedule, but are locking out signups for games without GMs.
If you have any interest in GMing, we would love you to volunteer!

We still have plenty of seats available for players, and we could even use some more GM volunteers, though it might be tough to get you scenarios quickly enough (but we will try).
