I don't see why.

I'd forgotten that Typhoid Mary was even a mutant, actually. :)
Still, she's basically psychic, and psychic stuff exists in the Marvel universe separate from mutants (many mystical characters, like Dr. Strange and Dr. Druid, pick up mental abilities like thought-casting and moving stuff with their minds without being mutant telepaths or mutant telekinetics, for instance, and SHIELD has had a bunch of low level non-mutant 'sensitives' doing psi-ops for years). In other cases, non-mutants can simply be *trained* (generally by aliens) to use psychic abilities, such as Mantis or Moondragon or 'Bob' (the Uranian) of Agents of Atlas.
I'd be perfectly okay with Mary (or any other character deriving powers from a psionic source, like Vance Astrovik or Molly Hayes) being a non-mutant in the MCU. There's plenty of precedent for it in the comics.
I'd be less inclined to make X-peeps into non-mutants, but characters like Typhoid Mary are far less connected to the whole mutant phenomena (and therefore it's less integral to their character/role) than various X-Men, or even Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

Moondragon though had that ability due to the fact she came back to life. I forget if Mantis had that or not. Bob/Quasar/Uranian I think is because he's part alien.
In any case you're correct about the fact you can have psychic stuff without mutants. It's just not as strong as say, the whole mutants re-writing reality with their mind.
MMCJawa,
I dunno about the Hand but it's possible. I still feel like the reveal will be the fact the Beast (the creature/demon/whatever) the Hand worships MIGHT be Mephisto. Or hell, Blackheart!

Phantom,
I think that's why they're going the Bullseye route. At least, that's my take for Season 3.
I haven't seen any info yet on season 3... other than there will be a season 3.
Once I realized they were doing the death of Elektra in season 2... I REALLY began to wonder if they were doing anything with Bullseye. Killing Elektra was really he greatest hit.

Rumor is season 3 won't come until after the defenders show. The other thing I read about season 3 is its going to be full on Daredevil vs. Fisk.
This is what I'm hoping for. if they find a way to work in Bullseye, even better... but without the 'killing Elektra' he won't have that super insane hatred that they share now.
Unless he kills Karen?? THAT could work and be true to the source material (and Karen really annoys me anyway in this show...)
Keep Vanessa gone, and just have that stone cold Season 2 Fisk back and this could be an awesome season.

Netflix says no new Daredevil or Jessica Jones until 2018. They're sticking to two seasons a year. September 30, 2016 is Luke Cage, then 2017 will debut Iron Fist and The Defenders. Punisher is still yet to be determined.
Edit: It won't be on Netflix, but Freeform (née ABC Family) is supposed to debut the new Cloak & Dagger TV show in 2017 too. Like the Netflix shows, it is also supposed to be set in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Watch Jessica Jones before getting to Season 2.
Why?
I'm caught up on Netflix Marvel right now... and I can't think of any real connection with Daredevil Season 2... what am I forgetting?
I definitely think JJ was the weakest link of the three shows/4 seasons so far... and it definitely connects to Luke Cage, but I'm drawing a blank on Daredevil...
All in all, I remember Daredevil playing just well without either of the other shows so far. Come Defenders time that all changes of course... but so far it's fine as a stand alone.

yeah, but I don't remember her doing much in JJ that would confuse anyone if they skipped it. Only watched that season once, so maybe I'm missing something.
Again... lot of connection between JJ and Luke Cage... I kind of consider JJ to be season one of Luke Cage all things considered... Anyone starting with Cage would be confused by stuff... but Going from DD1 to DD2... I don't remember anything major there...

I hated everything to do with Elektra with a passion, but I've always been a fan of the moral debates between Punisher and Daredevil. In my opinion, it's the only time I actually like Punisher as a character.

JJ was vastly superior than DD2 imho. I can barely remember anything about DD2, but JJ's David Tenant's take on the Purple Man was mind blowing.
Well yes, I'm always a fan of Tenant, and he did an amazing job with such a terrible character. I remember being concerned how that would turn out... but he nailed it.
Everything else about it just sucked to me. I know a lot of people love it... but JJ was just not for me.

I really like the Punisher stuff in season #2. I didn't think the Electra storyline was done that well. However, I just watched it again, and I think I enjoyed it more the second time around (I liked it alot the first time too). I still think some of the Electra stuff was a little weak. I thought most of the ninja fights were pretty good, though the fight with Daredevil versus the Dogs of Hell in the stairwell was IMO the best action sequence of the season.

Murdock got his from a chemical spill. Same for Jones. Kilgrave got his from a science experiment (aka most Captain America stuff). Cage...isn't clear but again experiments.
I just don't see this working for Typhoid Mary.
Jessica Jones also got hers from medical experiments, according to the hints we get in season 1. Specifically, she was given treatments of "IGH" after the car accident. That sounds suspiciously like Mutant Growth Hormone, but with "Mutant" replaced by "Inhuman."
We've had some pretty clever hints that Bullseye is coming, but Typhoid Mary would work fine as an Inhuman.

My friend at work and I have a running meme going with DD and action sequences. We call them Hallway scenes X.0. For example, the Dogs of hell scene was, "hallway scene 2.0 Now with stairs!" We even branched off and had the punisher cell block scene called "hallway scene 3.0 Now with Shivs"
I gotta agree with Sundakan though, ninjas in DD2 were lame.
