Disruptive feat

Rules Questions

Hi,
I am playing a sorcerer / inquisitor and have recently gained the disruptive feat but I'm not clear on how it works and was wondering if someone could clarify this. With the description of 'The DC to cast defensively increases +4 for all enemies that are within your threatened area. This increase to casting spells defensively only applies if you are aware of the enemy's location and are capable of taking an attack of opportunity' Does this mean.

1/ It counts as an attack, if you had sanctuary cast it would end it?
2/ If you are next to more than one spell caster it would effect all
3/ Does being stood next to someone that casts count without attacking?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

1. No. Does it say you attack? All you are required to do is threaten. Sanctuary breaks if you do attack but doesn't stop you from threatening (because you could attack and break the spell at any time). Plus, you can't normally attack of opportunity someone casting defensively anyway.
2. Yes, provided you threaten all of them. Someone with armor spikes and a reach weapon could threaten everyone within 10 feet easily.
3. Yes, you only need to threaten. Especially since you don't normally get an attack of opportunity against someone casting defensively. You do need a weapon (or improved unarmed strike) to threaten though.
