Hey Folks,
Here is the short and quick....
1. My gaming group's GM just told me he can't make tonight's game
2. I am hoping to run a easy PFS scenario tonight.
3. So I am looking for a scenario that I can download today and pretty much run it on the fly TONIGHT!!
4. This group has already played: First Steps Part 1: Service To Lore, Master of Fallen Fortress and Confirmation.
I appreciate any and all help with this!!!!
Thanks,
-Bill

The Devil We Know, Part 1 is very linear and simple.

I found Blackwaters to be fairly easy. The map fits into one flipmat if you draw the first corridor a little creatively. Its faily low on monsters, and had all the perp on the GM shared prep site: get your prep here
Voice in the void is also easy to prep but only has combat manager files on PFSPREP.

2 people marked this as a favorite. |
4-11 The Dissapeared; I tend to recommend it a lot, but you don't have to play a lot of of maps and combat will not drag very long.... unless your group screws up.
I would not recommend this as a fast prep scenario. I love running this, but keeping track of what every action takes, can be a pain. Not something you want to read trough in a hurry.

I'd have to agree with with Chris Mortika and go with Infernal Vault. It's stupid easy. Although, I was running PFS games at a con last weekend and got asked to run First Steps 1 cold. This was the first time I had ever run anything cold. I did play it a couple of years ago. It did go off fine though. It was fun, especially the part with Zarta.

Folks,
I can't thank all of you enough....I am wrapping up my day at work and going to head out in a little bit and head to gaming. Not only was I able to print up a couple scenarios but I now have a nice little resource for when this happens again.
Your help is greatly appreciated and I am thankful to have such an awesome and supportive community that I can rely on for solid and thoughtful advice!!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Dark Elf,
Way to step up and take the reins for your group! :)
Hopefully you'll like GMing and we'll see a star on your name soon.
As a sort of incentive towards that star, I would offer to run a game for you in person.
Since I can't, I would be happy to GM my personal favorite (The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment) over Roll20 and Teamspeak for you and up to five (5) other people in this thread if you'll PM me and we can find a mutually agreeable time.
Best,
Rob

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the kind words.....however, I have no idea what "stars" mean.I would like to try and play via a chat system. I have never done that before and can't speak for my group. I will ask them next time we meet. But if you ever need mad extra for an online game, please consider me!!
Thanks again,
-Bill

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the kind words.....however, I have no idea what "stars" mean.
For clarification's sake, you get a GM star for playing (and reporting) PFS games to paizo.com.
You get your first star at 10 tables of GM credit. Besides it just being cool to be recognized, there are a few small bonuses (I'd look through the Guide to Organized Play for the details), and you can replay (for credit) one scenario per GM star.
So it's kinda nice.
