Feeling guilty enough of being monopolizing this thread to post with an alter to pretend I am not myself...

Two new ones:
Hilda a Galliard from a Werewolf game, is today's OC-tober.

And I also finished an art trade that I had started some time ago but that I couldn't finish until today. (Danger! NUDES AHEAD!)

They’re both lovely.

Though you might want to label the second one as NSFW :3

I wanted to do it but forgot. It's already a bit late here and my brain isn't working xD

Edit: definitely, my brain has already logged out! I was trying to edit Rysky's comment instead of mine and getting frustrated for not being able!

And nice.

That's really great!

Svala Sólgeirr revisited. I want to give a better shading to this one.

Asha Coldeyes, one of Svala's teammates. She is a daemonspawn mindblade.

I forgot I had this alter xD

Silver Crusade

Oooo, I like Asha.

I really like how she came out, I had a clear idea from what I wanted to do, and Regodon's portrait of a daemonspawn really inspired me.

As she descends from a leukodaemon I went for slightly sharp features. I am specially proud of her eyes (I posted a closeup of them on my Twitter)

Self portrait, because I am still not Kileanna.

Marianna looks absolutely lovely.

Hey, that's a me! Cool!

Liberty's Edge

Eirenne Nightbreeze, a Galliard from the Children of Gaia and a crybaby. How can a kickass werewolf be a crybaby? She makes light heavy metal or something like that... Heavy metal shouldn't be light if you ask me, it attracts paradox...
And me, Eli, just someone living my life and minding my own business. I happen to be a member of the Cult of Ecstasy and an awakened human too. My tatoos don't have more magic than my pinkie toe, by the way.

Silver Crusade

But how much magic does your pinkie toe have? :3

Liberty's Edge

As much as I believe it has.

Knowing Mage, thas a lot.

Is small, but durable and stubborn.

That defines myself as a whole, not just my pinky!

Here's a pic of my old friend Rafael who is an even older character than me! He has been around for 15 years of real time and more than 500 of game time!!!

Lots of nice challenge artwork, Kileanna!

I was hoping to do Drawlloween again this year, but my new job has been racking up long hours and thus eating up far too much of my time and energy.

I had to cut a lot of projects because of unexpected calls to work but I am still there! XD

ME. I am HER favorite, see it? ;-P

Pretty awesome. Love the eyes!

So Wayfinder is closing open submissions as of today, so now is the perfect time to contact Tim about doing art for issue #18 if anyone is interested in doing so.

So, I've finally made my first Starfinder character. She's for a home campaign, and I've been given permission to play a much toned down non-evil Void Hag who's still making her robes.

Uthavia in her main environment.
In a holoskin human disguise as Dotanda "Dot" Synopea.
Using Disguise Self for a Nuar disguise as Iakoba.

Hey, I know those clothing models!

I want to get them, but man, the prices...

Looks good! What lighting set up are you using, if you don't mind me asking? (spoiler tags or PM replies on the tech stuff is fine if you don't want to take up space in the thread)

Sovereign Court

4 people marked this as a favorite.

I haven't drawn in a while. I should get back to it.

Stupid work, getting in the way.

Gull Street Annie

Lavidha, halfling bard of House Jorasco (and her pet dinosaur!)

Trog, a socially awkward street urchin

Aella, a Crusader/Jade Phoenix Mage in our Greek Pantheon War game

Scarab Sages

Great stuff!

Space was done with the Iray Worlds set, just angling everything so it didn't show the horizon. The Nuar and the human also used the lighting that came with their sets. Te Nuar is in the sci-fi hanger and the human is in one of many corridors.

The one in space and the Nuar both supplement with ghost lights.

Oh, and in space mode she herself glows. Her eyes come from the Tilir character, her hair is textured with a picture of the Orion Nebula. Then I applied the texture maps as luminosity maps. Her nails also glow too, and it was a PITA to get them to not wash out the silver color.

Oh my gosh do I understand problems with emission lights in iRay.

I have Alice's glowing accessories set to over 1mil lumens, and they're still so dimly lit.

I found that a good way to prevent loss of color and glossy surfaces when using emission lighting is to put a geoshell over the surface you're lighting, set to about 20% opacity, of the same color and material as you want lit. Another version of the image I link above uses that, and her nails look metallic blue, as they should, and not just flat blue surfaces.

I went missing for a few days and I found so many awesome pieces when I got back!

Everything looks really good but I specially fell in love with Trog, both with her pose and character design.

I have been busy drawing, so let's share some more of my work!

OLD SKETCHES:
Va'ardalia, one of Dalindra's more popular characters and already a level 20 Bard.
Tasha, a half-kender bard, who loves playing the mischievous kender to her profit.
Istixia, wait, another bard? She is a disciple of the red dragon and usually acts like a diva.
Lynessa Evelar, she couldn't be a bard even if she tried with her dumped CHA! She is Va'ardalias younger sister and an universalist wizard.
Kisangani is a centaur druid, though I only drew her upper side!

NEW STUFF:
Giosha,a tiefling I drew for an art trade. I really enjoyed this drawing.
Kileanna, just some progression with the WiP.
Rayl-Siria, a request I made for Project Starcall, a project made to connect people who want to have something drawn with artists taking requests (if you are interested, the homepage for it is here. )

Ah, also, for the ones who are on DA or like creating art, I am doing an art contest and a raffle, just in case you want to enter here it is!. You only need to have a DA account and watch me to enter the raffle, and people from outside of DA can enter the contest.

And that's all for now! I'll keep bringing more art soon!

Change the units from cd/m^2 to cd/cm^2. It will give you a scale that's easier to work with.

Yeah, the problem with mine is that I wanted silver, but light doesn't actually come in metallic colors - metallic is a result of the refraction of light hitting the object. So technically I'm using a high temperature light with a gray filter. Which gets easily washed out with by too much luminescence.

I'll try that, thanks! :D

A friend of mine asked me to draw up OOTS-style characters for his Pathfinder gaming group. I've put together a gallery of the set, along with the ones from my group.

Silver Crusade

Cool.

That's brilliant!

Awesome! I love OOTS!
New stuff:
A gift for a friend of her Final Fantasy fanmade character.
Sasha, a Yuan Ti converted to a Vishkanya when converted to Pathfinder.

Neat!

I should post some of my most recent commissions... let's see...

Various Sar'Tket expressions
Iolar guarding some fluffy chicks
Ignis objecting to some aliens interfering with his plans to own all the world's gold
Zakhin'Dakh helping gather firewood... a bit too enthusiastically.
Ignis grinning
Iolar showing off a more owl-like form
