When I ordered these dice, they were not shown to be out of stock. Now they are.

This happened the last time I tried to order dice from you guys as well. It's hugely irritating.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Our warehouse just did a massive inventory check, so it may be that these were in stock when they were not. We should be able to order more if you would like, but dice can take a while to get in small quantities.

Your order has been canceled, and you should be able to check your account to verify that the correct changes have been made. Again, I am sorry for any trouble this may have caused. Honestly - if you guys have so much trouble handling small orders of dice, you should just stop offering them.

I just want to explain a bit about how our ordering process works, to clear up any potential confusion.

While many of the items on our website are listed as "available", that is not the same thing as being in stock. If an item has a listed product availability of shipping from our warehouse in 4 to 11 business days (which, most of the dice do), it is most likely something that we will need to order in from a distributor. This is explained in greater detail here:

So, the real basis of my frustration is the first time i tried to order some AP dice from you guys, back in 2012.

I placed my order on Jan 18th (http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2ni1i?Question-on-My-Order), and had a similar "explanation" given to me then: "not in stock, 4-11 days, blah blah blah".

Two and a half months later (Mar 30th), after exactly 0 updates from Paizo as to why the dice were not available, I finally gave up and cancelled my order.

So, I don't care what your FAQ says, and I don't care how your business works. In my experience, Paizo cannot be trusted to deliver this type of product in a timely fashion.

It's not a big deal, but is an enormously irritating one.
