Interesting concept for sorcerer

So I have this interesting concept for a sorcerer, I have not worked out all the fluff, but that's not why I'm posting anyways. Mechanically it is a full plate wearing claw claw biting, shadow demon summoning fellow.

Basically it would be a high strength teifling Abyssal sorcerer with 3 levels of hell knight. Hell knight gives heavy armor proficiency, arcane armor mastery, and a 5% reduction to arcane spell failure chance.

So full plate has 35% arcane spell failure chance -20 for arcane armor mastery, -10 for mithral, -5 for hellknight, = no failure chance. Yay.

However this means that to enter hellknight at level 6 I would need to dedicate all 3 of my feats towards entry or dip into something that gives medium armor proficiency. So you don't need to look it up the feats I'd need for entry are light armor proficiency, medium armor proficiency, and arcane armor training.

I'm tempted to just dip into something else at level 1 to give me medium armor and I was thinking bloodrager, but I was wondering if the fine people of the internet could figure out a way that didn't interrupt my spellcasting progression, and if at all possible my bloodline progression, as I do use it, but it is less likely, and less important.

Thanks in advance.

Oracle would be good. Open up divine spells, and the Warrior Priest feat. You get the armor skills you need. Also allows you to use the Lore Mystery CHA crazyness.

I had not thought of that, it's cheese, but in a good way.

Does anyone know a way for a character like this to increase the max dexterity bonus of heavy armor? Because now I'm looking at this and I'm thinking, celestial armor, or at least a mithral breastplate would be better, as 1 armor difference is not enough to justify losing 10 movement speed, and I'm also thinking that I don't really need the hellknight levels after all if I'm careful with my feats.

Oracles can get armor training, if you just want to go oracle instead of sorcerer. Then you don't have to worry about spell failure at all. You could even take eldrich heritage if you wanted.

I hate that you have to blow your swift action every turn to do this though, that's a huge issue with these builds to me. Not saying you can do any better, just saying I myself can't stomach casting in armor builds for that reason.

well until you get quicken spell I guess you could just not have anything better to do with your swift actions.

Yeah, the lose of swift every turn you want to cast will get annoying, fast. Especially if you also have a wizard in the group who can use that swift to double their damage in a round.

That said, if you are dropping Hellknight (which was a cool concept IMO) you can swtich to Magus or Bloodrager. Use Half Elf to get SF for free (along with other fun things that make Half Elf better then Human) allowing you to Eldritch Heritage.

Oracle is also an option as a full class.

Unfortunatly, The only ways I know to reduce ACP, ASF and movement restriction are Mithril, Darkleaf and Basic movement speed increases and Dwarf, but they are already reduced speed anyway, so net 0 for this. Someone moving 40-45 is reduced to 30, 55-60 is 40.
