I am very confused with the "Dirty Trick" combat maneuver, since it really just seems like an nondescript way to define a combat maneuver. It doesn't mention anything about range. Can I throw sand in people's eyes from range?
Are there RAW about Dirty Tricks used at range and what would that mean for attacks of opportunity?
Range is defined. If you look up the exact section on dirty tricks the first sentence is "you can attempt to hinder a foe in melee as a standard action."
