Gentile Repose / Breath of Life

Rules Questions

The Exchange

My character is wearing a medallion that places me under the effect of a Gentile Repose spell if I die. Yes, I just died. The medallion's effect starts instantly so the question I have is; does the fact that time under the Gentile Repose does not count for the limits on getting my character raised from the dead count for the purposes of a Breath of Life spell which must be cast within one round of death if used to bring somebody back to life?

I'm iffy on whether this works or not, but want to give it to my party as an option. Otherwise I'm going to subtly hint that they try a reincarnation since they have easier access to a 7th level druid than a 9th level cleric. We have more than enough cash in the party fund for Raise Dead, but I'd rather not be out of action for two weeks of in game time (though would do it if I can save everybody a few thousand in reincarnation and restoration costs). My spellcaster is at -12 HP right now, so if the Gentile Repose does make it possible for a Breath of Life spell to work at a later time I'm back on my feat as myself. Otherwise we get to have fun making a reincarnation table for native outsiders.

Gentle Repose does not interact with Breath of Life in any way. Breath of Life only works within 1 round of death--the condition of the body is irrelevant.
