Tiefling Bloodrager(arcane) mage slayer help

Advice

The character I'm making is 5th level, a large brutish tiefling(demon spawn) who wields a Large Earthbreaker in combat and sunders his opponents spells, based around a Thunder and Fang build with a spiked large steel shield. I'm looking for ways to get him a familiar and haven't been able to find any that would work as I don't want to lose his first level bloodline power from Arcane which leaves me with either burning feats for it, or taking a dip. Flavorwise I was thinking Witch would work better than wizard as he comes from a more barbarian-ish background so with that in mind, what Hex should I choose for him and Patron as well? What would I be best going about choosing to get the most efficiency out of my choice? Any advice and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks in advance.

As an aside, would I be better off dropping Thunder and Fang and going with just the Large Earthbreakeror Large Greatsword? I haven't been able to settle on a decision. I really enjoy the image of him wielding a massive hammer and shield one handed but the feat-sink is hefty and could probably be put to better use? Should I drop it or focus entirely on TWF since the penalty is sorta made up for by the Bloodrage bonuses? As a mage hunting character I've contemplated maybe dropping the shield altogether and getting Net Adept to use a one-handed net in his offhand. Would this be too much of a feat sink to be worth it?

Any advice at all? Is the weapon/feat style just complete rubbish or am I doing something completely idiotic by dipping a level of Witch(haven't chosen an archetype, suggestions?) to get a familiar/improved familiar just an idiot idea?

Familiars are not easy to come by. For the hex, go with evil eye. But it's hard to recommend taking a level of 0 bab and not much else on your class that will lose hit points, BAB, and spell progression.

Any other classes that could give the familiar without taking the brutal hit to everything else? I'm half debating saving the feats and instead going with a more traditional two-handed fighting build, with just enough feat investment to go into Shadow Dancer, possibly using his tiefling heritage as an excuse an claiming his ancestor was a Shadow Demon. I really like the idea of a raging magehunter spellcasting brute shifting across the battlefield from shadow to shadow...

The new Eldritch Guardian archetype for Fighters might work as a dip. While it does not advance your spells or bloodline powers, it does give you a d10 for health and full BaB (as well as Use Magic Device as a class skill). In addition, if you extend the dip for two levels your familiar will get to benefit from your Combat Feats.

That actually looks about perfect for what I was hoping for. Is there any particular improved familiar you guys would recommend for this character to maximize the shared combat feats? My plan is Eldritch Guardian 2, Bloodrager(Primalist) with the Arcane Bloodline, going into Shadowdancer. Shadow and familiar both acting as flank buddies. Maybe an armed/armored Pooka to benefit from the Shadowdancer's prerequisite feats?
