Did anyone actually end up with a room they could not use in Downtown Indy within a few blocks of the convention center?

If this applies to you, would you be interested in working that out to mutual benefit?

Backstory:

I got stuck with a 4 hour wait despite buying my badge as soon as they were available on Friday, and there was literally nothing in walking distance even through alternatives like Travelocity, Orbitz, etc that were reasonably priced.

I don't drive. I have two other folks that are counting on me for the room.

I don't Hobo Con.

Please offer insight/advice/help?

Thank you for your time!

I feel your pain, I had a 2 1/2 hour wait. The closest room available was on the west side of the airport, about 12 miles away. Being someone who GMs a lot of games, i'm not a fan of having to lug everything with me for the entire day.

Looks like i'm going to have to GM seven games to get the free Paizo room, which leaves my gf not being able to go because of the room.

Good luck in finding a room.

Thanks. If I run across an extra (yeah, right) I'll be sure to let you know.
