If you haven't read up on this year's PaizoCon, there seems to be a lot of PACG events planned, which includes sampling the new base set, class decks, the new season of OP and a new type of event. I've never been to a con like this before, but really tempted just to check out the PACG stuff

PACG hype train: hype for Iconic Heroes miniatures, hype for Ultra-Pro Adventure Case, hype for Wrath of the Righteous, hype for Season of the Righteous organized play, hype for new class decks, hype for the mysterious new type of Card Guild event, and hype for the next set after WotR. Paizo is squeezing out every bit of hype I have in me!

I'm getting antsy for Wrath. I skipped S&S to grab some Class Decks instead, and now RoTR is starting to show some wear due to the extra plays... And Wrath gets moved to April...
A conspiracy against me, I tell you.
<glances over shoulder before whispering>Psst. Hey, don't look now, but it's backed up till May now....<glances back over shoulder before scampering into the darkness>

I'd honestly be ok if they always put a month or two break between the end of one adventure path and the beginning of the next. It gives me some time to either accumulate some funds for the base set purchase or buy some class decks. Not to mention it lets me actually complete the adventure path and maybe take a shot at organized play.
I guess I'm saying, one base set a year wasn't enough for me, but one every six months might be a bit too much. One every 7 or 8 months might be just about right.
I'm sure others are playing faster than me though and 6 months is just right for them (or even not fast enough).

Ohhh, I didn't realize Wrath was pushed so far back. I was just getting amped up about seeing it in March.
I'm mostly with you, Hawk. While I'll take any Pathfinder anywhere I can get it, Wrath being delayed means we can take our run at the OP scenarios at a leisurely pace. We're waiting until they're all out before we try them. Having two concurrent S&S parties and doing our Shield of Rannick run, slotting OP into the mix would probably be too much anyway. :D Loath as I am to say it.

As much as I am eager to play Wrath, I don't mind that it gets pushed back, or that I don't play it yet when it is released due to the backlog of sessions we have left for S&S.
It would give us time to squeeze out all the play we can get from S&S before we move on to Wrath. It also gives time for FAQs and erratas to fix things that may need fixing in Wrath.
I would also rather they take an extra month or two to playtest and quadruple check the cards to have less need for FAQs and erratas, than an early release with full of errors and confusion.
But maybe that is because I have a lot of sessions left to catch up to. If I already played every scenario and character I can on S&S/RotR, I'd probably be a bit more impatient too.
