goblin barbarian

Advice

Hello everyone. This is the first time I have posted on this forum, but I just wanted everyone's saying. I am cucurrently taking part in a currently lvl 3 campaign, starting from lvl two. My current rolling has been max health (thank you lucky health rolling) with all favored points into health for a total of 45 how at lvl 3, and as stated I have gone with a goblin barbarian. More specifically I went with the serene barbarian, for the 20 Dex I distributed kind of fit the most.

Onwards from here is where I migjt need a bit of help. This far in, I have the weapon finesse feat as well as dervish dance and I am rocking the scimitar at the moment, yet I lose the 2 AC from my shield in the process. At this point I was wondering which direction to go, from rage powers to feats. At a point, I don't know how long leather armor will help me, but I doubt it will last when I bump the Dex up more, so at this point I am stumped in progress from here. Amy suggestions?

If needed, I can post the full Stat layout of the character to help. I didn't know whiwhich totem rage powers to go for, so I focused on grabbing no escape first just to insure targets do not get away.

Bump

1. Consider an Archetype. Urban Barbarian can boost your Dexterity and allow you to do other stuff like go into stealth while raging. If you are allowed to retrain and can use firearms in your game, you might also want to look into the Savage Technologist - you will probably want to dump Weapon Finesse and Dervish Dance if you get this archetype though.
All being said, Urban Barbarian is probably a good upgrade.

2. Darkleaf Cloth and Mithral can be used to make armor with higher Dex bonus. Eventually, you will be better off naked though. For this reason, the Savage Barbarian archetype can be pretty good to take too.

3. For Rage Powers, can't go wrong with Reckless Abandon, Superstitious and the first two Beast Totems (scent and natural armor). The Disruptive line is good too.

Thanks alot. I already chose the archetype serene barbarian, which trades for a Dex and will based rage instead of Str and Con rage as normal. Serene barbarian also only swaps out the rage abilities only, so which archetype would synergize best with the serene barbarian archetype?

Thanks for the item recommendation, I never really know which route when it comes to items. Likewise for the rage powers, I usually seem to take ones that do not blend well. I will look into rage powers planning and item hunting/crafting.
