In PFs, what is the caster level of a Cure Light Wounds spell when cast from a wand?

I noticed you need to be 5th level to craft a wand. Does this mean the caster level of the spell would be 5th level?

thanks

Unless otherwise specified, the caster level is the minimum required to cast the spell. In the case of cure light wounds that's caster level 1.

A crafter can intentionally choose to increase the caster level of the wand when crafting it (up to a maximum of his own caster level) but doing so also increases the cost. As a result, any wand with a non-standard caster level will explicitly specify this.

I wand that heals 1d8+5 costs fives as much as a wand that heals 1d8+1, so there isn't much incentive to raise the caster level. It's shame that is so.

Dasrak and Ciaran Barnes are correct, and here is a link to wands.
As you can see in that link the market price of a wand is as follows:
(750 x CL x spell level) + (50 x material component cost)

Normally wands are created at minimum caster level to cast the spell but you can as mentioned during wand creation increase caster level up to creators caster level but the price goes up as noted in the formula above. Also note that unless the material component is costly the second part of the formula is ignored.

Short answer: Unless otherwise specified on a Chronicle, the caster level of a wand in PFS is the minimum caster level required for a Wizard/Cleric/Druid to cast the spell.

For CLW, that would be 1st level, for a wand cost of 750 gp.

For PFS, as well, unless noted on a Chronicle, wands must be bought with 50 charges.

There are wands on Chronicles that can be partially charged, and/or above minimum caster level.

The Confirmation:
One of the items on the Chronicle for this scenario is a CLW wand at CL3, 1d8+3, with 8 charges. Cost, as mentioned, is appropriate, 45 gp per charge instead of 15, so 8 charges at CL3 runs 360 gp.

Thank you. I didn't realize you could craft a wand lower then your caster level.

Most things are actually assumed to be crafted at the minimum caster level required to cast the spell involved in construction.

Of course, for wondrous items spell requirements can be ignored by increasing the spellcraft DC, but for wands and scrolls you are required to supply the spell.

Also, for other wands, that assumption carries through to the save DC, if it has one, as the casting stat is also set as the minimum needed to cast the spell.

For a wand of Color Spray, for example, the save is DC 11 Will (Base 10, +0 (casting stat of 11) + 1 (spell level))

For a wand of Fireball, the DC would be only DC 14 Reflex, DC 10 (base) + 1 (casting stat of 13) + 3 (spell level 3)
