Question if iMay?
At present our group have just started the infernal syndrome on the council of thieves adventure path
Unfortunately due to illness l was unable to attend yesterday
At one point it was required that the party sign an infernal contract
One of the players (which whom l have friendly rivalry) therefore decided ( to wind me up) and signed my name on this document
Needless to say the contract had to be signed in blood
So the question is
As l did not sign it I presume the contract is not binding
ALSO as my "dear Friend" signed contract is he doubly in hock to hell
Please say yes it would be lovely to see him toasting on a pitchfork
I don't believe there's any formalized Paizo rules for that. It would really be up to your GM's discretion on how s/he wants to handle the issue of the 'signing' and what consequences could result for the other player.
As a GM, I would almost certainly rule that as your character never made the decision to sign, your signature isn't binding. Whether that would extend to consequences for the other player is up to the GM.
It depends on the DM.
Most likely, I'd say your friend is on the hook for the contract (I'd say what's going to happen, but spoilers) as it is defined not by the signature, but by the actual blood/DNA of whoever signed it.
Being evil however, if I wanted to be an unfair and evil GM, I could say he is on the contract, but since it's your name on their and you didn't protest it (as he could be seen to have done it in proxy in your presence), you'd also be listed as part of the contract.
