K so I'm new to the pfs and I recently made my fist legal character. I received a confirmation code, but I've no idea on how to log it in. I tried character creation but there's no place to give the code.

Someone Please Help!!

I think you use it when you first make an account.

No. Scratch that. Just logged myself out to check out the new account but I didnt see an option for that.

Irodel,

Sorry you are having trouble registering your PFS number. Here is what you need to do to register your code you were given.

1.) Create a Paizo.com account (Done since you posted on this thread) and insure you are logged in to your account.
2.) Click Pathfinder Society on the left side of the page.
3.) There is a link "Join the Pathfinder Society and create your character now". Click that link.
4.) You should get and option to either log in or register your card with the confirmation code. Once entered, you should be able to register your character.

If you continue to have trouble, please post here or get in contact with customer service. Thank you and welcome to PFS!!!

Clicking "Join the Pathfinder Society and create your character now" just takes you to My Pathfinder Society

From those screencaps, you look like you are on exactly the right track. The first will let you download your PFS ID card, which will have your pathfinder society number, in six digits.

Your character numbers all start with those six digits, then a hyphen, and then a sequential number from when you entered the character. My second character is 70038-2 (I'm old, and so have a lower number.)

The second screencap is where you enter a character into the system here. Note: this is unofficial. Your official character is made up of the chronicle sheets you receive when you play scenarios. Keep those!

You are doing it right.

well I used the character generator. but how do I make it recognize my session where I received the slip?

The online records show up when the GM reports the event, you dont have to do anything. The chronicle sheet you received is all the official reporting that you need.

well that would be fine if I had registered the character before the scenario but I made my character at the scenario and then got the confirmation paper

The chronicle sheet is still all that matters. If you now have a PFS#, which it sounds like you do, fill that in on the blank line in your chronicle sheet, and you're set. Don't worry about whether sessions show up online or not. Online reporting is for the benefit of GMs, Paizo staff, and those that lose their chronicle sheets.

The screencaps won't load because the forum software adds a space to the url to prevent robots from posting. You have to delete that space to use the url. Alternatively, put it in a 'url' bbcode. See right below the text-entry window, at the link: 'How to format your text'.

But, yeah, entering your character on here is not at all necessary to play pfs. The chronicle sheets are the official record. Combined with your ITS (inventory tracking sheet) and your own character sheet, and you are all set.
