The Imitation Game

Just saw this last night, and it blew me away. I was nearly in tears at the end, from Benedict Cummerbatch's extraordinary portrayal of Alan Turing.

Keira Knightly was also very impressive.

ALthough it wasn't entirely historically accurate, I found the story engrossing and I couldn't look away.

Anyone else enjoying this film?

Liberty's Edge

I saw it last Friday. Loved it. Cumberbatch blew me away. I has aspergers and going from His performance of Turing, I think Turing had it too. I love the message that Different is good and the world needs different types of people.

Secrets within secrets, self deception extraordinaire. I enjoyed the moral struggles of the main characters with the power they wielded.

Some of my gay friends were unhappy with the movie because it put Turings sexuality somewhat in the background, although I did not personally mind the level with which they dealt with the topic.
