I'll add questions about the future of banks and their security...
What happens to banked stuff at NPC starter settlements if you decide to remove the starter settlements?
Will combat or sieges create the ability to plunder banks at player owned settlements?
Just curious where the safest place to stash stuff is, in the long term, for a pack-rat.

When they deleted a few settlements towards the end of the alpha, everything in those banks was just gone. I know, as I had all my crafting items in the bank at Phoenix Pass - and it was all gone (it was an alpha, and company/settlement mates provided anything I needed - so no real hardship, just a bit annoying not receiving any advance warning).
I believe that the settlements that got moved had their bank contents move as well (not 100% sure on that).

When Ossians Crossing and Kindleburn got moved in Alpha, their contents got wiped. That said, that was Alpha, this is EE. The devs should give us fair warning (like, a week or two) before taking out the starter settlements and deleting the contents of their banks.
Cheatle, I'm not a dev, but as far as I know/have heard there are no limits whatsoever. I'll add, though, that I hope that they are maintainging daily or weekly back ups of the banks for Player Settlements, in case a system error or some other thing wipes out the bank data sets.

We accidentally put the maximum number of an item in the vault once while testing. I think the number had 20 zeroes or something like that. Sould never be a real world problem.
If we ever close an NPC Settlement now that we are in live operations we will have some plan to move or redistribute it's vault.

We need to ask the same questions about the AH. The AH seem to get more laggy the more items there are under the given category you click on. Click on "crafting" and there can be a 5 to 10 second pause before anything changes on your screen.
Yah I had an interesting case when on voice to a company member and we were both at the same AH. I could see an item for sale and she could not. Eventually after going in and out of AH house several times and accusing me of imagining things she eventually had it appear for her and bought it.
