I need some more advice on hunters.

Advice

I am thinking on playing a hunter that has a tiger and uses a Naginata. What teamwork feats will work well with me and my tiger? I was thinking of shared healing. What teamwork feats will work well and what other feats should I take for my hunter and cat? I wanted the feat where I can give my tiger the celestial template but I cant remember which book it is in?

Grand Lodge

You can give the pet the template via Divine Hunter Archtype, however that does cost you your teamwork feats.

As for other feats.

Lookout is good if you take the bodyguard archetype for the tiger, making you and him never surprised.

Outflank is great if you do not grab it for free at 2nd.

Pack Flanking allows you and tiger to flank from any position around the foe, enabling the bodyguard archetype abilities that require you 2 to be adjacent.

Think it is improved spell sharing (it is in ACG, not positive on the name off hand) allows you to pick back up the share spell you traded away with Bodyguard. Well, kinda, the spells effect both of you at once and cut the duration in half.

Here is a question, do you want to ride the Tiger?

Because the Hunter is AMAZING when riding his animal companion. Pack Hunting and Outflank allows you to charge at a minimum for +7 to hit+BAB+Strength

As long as you aren't using a Reach weapon in the Saddle you and your tiger can hit on a Charge and murder everything with a single feat to get you a +1 Eidolon Evolution point and pick up Pounce.

That sounds fun riding my tiger. Will a lance and shield work?

Dyfydd has some good points.

I would recommend getting outflank, pack flanking, and paired opportunists.

If your heart isn't set on using the naginata, I would recommend using something with a high critical threat range, like a kukri, or nodachi. If you can make them Keen, then it's even better.

With this set up, every time you Crit, outflank gives your animal companion an AoO. And paired opportunists gives you a free AoO every time your animal companion gets an AoO. With the bonuses to hit these feats give you, you will be at a +8 for these attacks too.

What stats should I take for a melee 25 point build?

By the way, an aasimar can take Celestial Servant, giving their animal companion the celestial template.

Yep, but if you Lance and Shield or any reach weapon you will need at least Ride-By-Attack before you can have your Tiger attack with you.

You need to wait until level 9 to get Lunge on your Tiger before you can attack at the same time as your mount.

Some GMs think that your Mount cannot attack with you until then, so they might not let you do this under the idea that your mount does not have Ride By Attack and Ride By Attack does not let you attack again during the second move, which is what you use to get your Tiger into position. But in that case you can say that "YOU" did a Ride-By-Attack while your Tiger did a normal charge ending as close to the enemy as they needed to be in order to deal damage.

If your GM rules that your Mount also gains advantage of Ride By Attack then you can keep charging instead of ending your turn there and move past your enemy and outside of their reach for a counter attack.

For my stats for a 25 point build with my character at 5th level is this ok? STR 16, Dex 13, Con 16, Int 10, Wis 16, Cha 8. and where do I put my +2 for human? I put my fourth level increase in dex.

Put it in Strength, you won't be debuffing the enemy much so DCs are not super important for you while having more strength means you deal more damage.

3x on a Charge with Spirited Charge and a Lance, for a 3/4ths BAB class like a Hunter Spirited Charge is like being at full BAB though you can't get it before level 5 since you need Combat Expertise, Mounted Combat, and Ride By Attack to get Spirited Charge.

You'll also have Outflank for free and Pack Flanking, with Paired Opportunist or some other Teamwork feat free on your next level. Then you can get Wheeling Charge or Evolved Companion and suddenly you are golden by level 7...unless you can take Leadership, then you wait until level 9 for that stuff.

the Nodachi weapon sounds great I will take one

You don't need CE to get spirited charge.

How much do you like teamwork feats, and how high level do you plan to play this guy at?

If you play above level 9 or so, you might well be better off with a druid than hunter, especially if you're not absolutely in love with teamwork feats.
