I don't see the need for the Druid to steal the Paladin's signature abilities. He has wild shape, a ton of druid special powers, and 9 levels of spellcasting.
If you can't be a frightening enough figure with the already included stuff, then you're doing it wrong.

1) It's not clear to me that you can smite more than once/day. Not sure RAW on this, though.
2) Celestial/Fiendish smite does not bypass DR like paladin smite does, AFAIK, nor does it provide an AC bonus. So, it's a nice damage bump but it's not as good as a paladin's smite.
The way I understand it, you get it per shift.

Actually, I'm pretty sure this FAQ limits it to once a day.

Even if it were per shift, you'd have to reshift to smite. Beyond that, I didn't think mythic wild shape and planar wild shape interacted that way. I saw it as...
You pick, say, a bear, to wild shape into with Mythic Wild Shape. Then when you turn into a bear, you don't use a wild shape use. But when you go planar, you spend an extra wild shape use. I did not think that was covered under mythic wild shape, but you would just spend one instead of two.
...but I don't play a lot of druid so I could be misinterpreting the rule on that.
