Hi guys,
I've been playing PF with my friends for about a year now. Still lots to learn but quite enjoying it.
The following keeps stumping us even though it seems simple:
a +1 weapon +10: what does it do?
Is it +1 on all rolls and +10 to hit (thus +11 to hit?)
or is it +1 damage and +10 to hit?
Thanks in advance!

The +1 before the name means the weapon has a +1 enhancement bonus. This gives +1 to attack and damage rolls, but it should already be calculated into the stat block. The +10 refers to the total attack bonus; so that character attacks with that sword, he rolls 1d20+10 (as I said, this already includes the +1 from being a +1 [weapon]).

It should read +1 returning cold iron dagger, yes? In italics? That's the weapon the character is using. The "+1" means it's a magical weapon with a +1 enhancement bonus, which adds +1 attack and damage over a mundane cold iron dagger. The "+11" is the total attack bonus, including the +1 enhancement. I see the damage dice are listed as "1d2". I imagine this character has a Strength score of 8 or 9? If that is the case, then the +1 enhancement to damage is offsetting the -1 penalty to damage that the character would have if it was wielding a mundane cold iron dagger.
*Usually* these sorts of bonuses and penalties are already factored into the statblock, and you shouldn't have to adjust any rolls for them, but occasionally there may be errors. Additionally, adjustable bonuses such as Power Attack, Deadly Aim, and Combat Expertise *do* need to be factored in if the character chooses to use them.
