What now... are they remixing the Hitler clips from Downfall to "investigate" the prophecies of Nostradamus?

HA!

I do love Downfall, though. Own it. Great movie!

I just don't think I can do that...

Pork sausages and mashed potatoes with mustard for the former and onion gravy for the latter. Also, some cabbage, celery, and carrots, as this is an Irish pub. English pub would have skipped the latter.

And it would have tasted awful. :)

Yeah, because clearly the cabbage is where all the flavor comes from...

What's up, badger man?

EDIT: Rough news. Just my two cents: Don't miss any opportunity. You don't what the guilt, even if its irrational guilt, that can latch onto things like that once she's gone.

I don't plan on it.

Oh, and I meant that, in general, the English pub food would be awful.

Only bad pub food is bad. Good pub food is AWESOME. Sure, you may die young, but you'll be so happy in the meantime.

I'll post again tomorrow night.

Have a good Saturday, all.

Professor, if you're reading this I got unceremoniously bumped and getting no connect to them. :/

EDIT: Made it on for a moment, then it froze up on me again. Grr.

I'm still there, still failing to send my response since it says you're offline.

Weirdness... I am online though :)

ERGH! Somebody has to take the fall for this.

(bounces through)

I'll drive you MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mad, Urizen!

Watching your daughter perform on stage. Good.

Finding out your company just lost your biggest account. Bad.

This year just keeps getting worse.

Sorry to hear that, Emp7. Good to see you around again. Hope you're feeling better.

Too much coffee!!!

Yes... drink, drink! Partake of my bittersweet ichor and stay up all night and morning!

Not possible

What goes best with coffee?

PIE.

The Exchange

I place coffee just a hairs breath above beer in my worst drinks list.

No it doesn't. Pie goes best with everything.

Wazzup, CrimJ?

My stepson put on Angels and Demons, which I've decided is a pretty mediocre show, but I liked seeing places in Rome I recognize. Especially around and in the Pantheon.

Getting ready to run another load of stuff to the new house and as such shall have to call it quits for the evening.

Torturing myself at a petshop.

Hated angels and demons almost as much as the Davinci code. crappy books but the movies are better. Would love to go to Rome some day but may have to wait a bit even if I had the money.

Solnes seems to enjoy it, so it can't be all that bad.

Hehe, nice misquote.

Lack of FB make Urizen and Mairkurion go something something...

ME TOO, blah! hehe hohahehe ho!

*foams at mouth*

No one tell Urizen that he is being subjected to a deprivation experiment. First they take away Netflix, then Facebook... man, dude is gonna go nuts.

Take away facebook? Am I missing something?

Urizen and I were chatting, and he got kicked off and it wouldn't let it sign back in. Weird.

Liberty's Edge

It seems to be better-ish on FB now. Check it out.

I was on the whole time. It was Urizen who was having all the fits. What has he done to anger the daimons?

Liberty's Edge

Alright, that's enough fun for tonight. See you all tomorrow!

Good night!

I was scrolling rapidly through the messageboard list and flew past Council of Thieves. I saw the title "What Lies in Dust" and thought it was "Lust in the Dust." Frankly, I think mine's the better title. They should hire me for title writing.

Losing the acount sucks.

But, is watching your daughter perform on stage only good and not priceless? Will you refer to it as only "good" ten years from now?

How are you feeling now, by the way?

From the "sound" of that proclamation it appears that you are expecting a good time. Hope that pans out.

I hope that we game today. It might be WoD today.

And how is everyone this rainy drizzly day?

Dreary. Woman's still in bed, bulldog's sleeping in my lap and the cats are up to random hijinks. And you and yours?

The good level was impacted by the major bad news. She did great. She and George were the funniest characters. My daughter throws herself into things 110%, dragging us along, so these weeks of rehearsal and other prep have been really tiring. But the end result makes it worthwhile. And now she's getting hounded to join the Fall production team. That girl wipes us out. Financially too.

I have to start floating my resume around, as my company will downsize another 25% with this latest news. Sadly, that may involve looking for a job out of state. Hopefully I can hold on for a year, as I'm the real estate guy. I would not be surprised if they demand a 10% across the board pay cut.

Feeling better, but I still have this threshold where I get overloaded. I'm trying to see if I can strengthen myself and push it back so I can get back to work, but now the stress at work will be out of control. There may be a way to ease myself back in. Work 4 hours, get a couple of hours from the insurance company, and use a couple personal hours.

2010 is not going sown as a banner year for my family. :/

I am at work. The wife and kiddies are gearing up for a garage sale of all the junk we do not need. Sad thing is I have a pile of garbage as big as the garage sale stuff in the back yard. Seems the garage didn't keep critters or rain out and a lot of stuff was ruined.
