Pork sausages and mashed potatoes with mustard for the former and onion gravy for the latter. Also, some cabbage, celery, and carrots, as this is an Irish pub. English pub would have skipped the latter.
Yeah, because clearly the cabbage is where all the flavor comes from...
What's up, badger man?
EDIT: Rough news. Just my two cents: Don't miss any opportunity. You don't what the guilt, even if its irrational guilt, that can latch onto things like that once she's gone.
I don't plan on it.
Oh, and I meant that, in general, the English pub food would be awful.

wtf is going on with FB this evening.
Professor, if you're reading this I got unceremoniously bumped and getting no connect to them. :/
EDIT: Made it on for a moment, then it froze up on me again. Grr.
I'm still there, still failing to send my response since it says you're offline.

Wazzup, CrimJ?
My stepson put on Angels and Demons, which I've decided is a pretty mediocre show, but I liked seeing places in Rome I recognize. Especially around and in the Pantheon.
Getting ready to run another load of stuff to the new house and as such shall have to call it quits for the evening.
Torturing myself at a petshop.
Hated angels and demons almost as much as the Davinci code. crappy books but the movies are better. Would love to go to Rome some day but may have to wait a bit even if I had the money.

Of course, in her case, she loses her sunglasses while wearing them.
What makes it scary is her concealed weapon permit.
On FB I am, yes... :)

Watching your daughter perform on stage. Good.
Finding out your company just lost your biggest account. Bad.
This year just keeps getting worse.
Losing the acount sucks.
But, is watching your daughter perform on stage only good and not priceless? Will you refer to it as only "good" ten years from now?
How are you feeling now, by the way?

The good level was impacted by the major bad news. She did great. She and George were the funniest characters. My daughter throws herself into things 110%, dragging us along, so these weeks of rehearsal and other prep have been really tiring. But the end result makes it worthwhile. And now she's getting hounded to join the Fall production team. That girl wipes us out. Financially too.
I have to start floating my resume around, as my company will downsize another 25% with this latest news. Sadly, that may involve looking for a job out of state. Hopefully I can hold on for a year, as I'm the real estate guy. I would not be surprised if they demand a 10% across the board pay cut.
Feeling better, but I still have this threshold where I get overloaded. I'm trying to see if I can strengthen myself and push it back so I can get back to work, but now the stress at work will be out of control. There may be a way to ease myself back in. Work 4 hours, get a couple of hours from the insurance company, and use a couple personal hours.
2010 is not going sown as a banner year for my family. :/

Dreary. Woman's still in bed, bulldog's sleeping in my lap and the cats are up to random hijinks. And you and yours?
I am at work. The wife and kiddies are gearing up for a garage sale of all the junk we do not need. Sad thing is I have a pile of garbage as big as the garage sale stuff in the back yard. Seems the garage didn't keep critters or rain out and a lot of stuff was ruined.
