After a hectic last several months, our warehouse is caught up with shipping! With the 2014 winter holidays approaching, I want to pass along some information which may be helpful if you are considering placing a holiday order.

Customer Service Closures:
Paizo Customer Service will be closed December 24th, 25th and 26th. We will reopen on Monday, December 29th. We will also be closed on January 1st, 2015.

Customer service currently has a very large email backlog (about 550 at the moment) so our response time is unfortunately much longer than is ideal. Please take this in account when choosing your method of contacting us regarding an urgent matter.

Please note when reviewing the following shipping information, there are many factors, including but not limited to, inventory discrepancies, weather and/or postal issues, that can cause an order to be delayed. We cannot provide a guarantee that any orders placed will arrive by a specific date. While we are currently caught up with orders, our estimate for shipping in stock items is still 1-6 business days. Orders containing items with "should ship from our warehouse" estimates longer than 1-6 business days will not arrive at our warehouse in time for holiday shipping.

Domestic Orders*º:
At this time, for items with a "should ship from our warehouse in 1-6 business days":

  • Standard Postal Delivery orders placed before 6:00 AM PST on Thursday, December 18th have a chance of arriving on or before December 24th, but it is very much a toss up. The typical estimate is 4-8 business days.
  • USPS First Class orders placed before 6:00 AM PST on Friday December 19th, have a chance of arriving on or before December 24th, but it is a very slim chance. Typically estimates for this option are 3-11 business days so it is very dependent on location, timing and luck.
  • USPS Priority is typically 2-5 business days once it leaves our warehouse and has a decent chance of arriving if placed before 6:00 AM PST on Thursday, December 18th, and a slim but not-zero chance if placed before 6:00 AM PST on Monday December 22nd. Please note: we are not able to provide tracking information for USPS Priority mail.
  • UPS Ground also has a highly probable chance of arriving in time if placed before 6:00 AM PST on Thursday, December 18th. The longest estimate we typically see for UPS Ground is 5 business days, with some as short as 3 business days depending on location. When the order ships you will receive a tracking number.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air†: if you place your order before 6:00 AM PST on Monday, December 22nd, you should get your package by December 24th. When the order ships you will receive a tracking number. UPS guarantees delivery by the end of the second business day from when they receive the package from us for most locations. If your package does not arrive in time, you may need to work with Paizo to file a claim, just contact our customer service.
  • UPS Next Day Air†: if you place your order before 6:00 AM PST on Tuesday, December 23rd, you should get your package by December 24th. When the order ships you will receive a tracking number. UPS guarantees next business day delivery from when they receive the package from us. If your package does not arrive in time, you may need to work with Paizo to file a claim, just contact our customer service.

ºHawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Marianas, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa and other US territories typically extend to the end of or past the shipping estimate for US domestic mail.
†Our warehouse checks daily for orders placed using UPS 2nd Day and UPS Next Day shipping methods to ensure these orders ship out as soon as possible. If your order for in stock items has not shipped within 1 business day, please contact customer service.

International Orders:
We do not have a shipping method that I would expect to arrive by December 24th if it has not already shipped.

I'm heading out for the break, customer service is out from 5pm Dec 23 until 10am Dec 29th (PST).
