Eligos's Paintings—What Do They Represent?

Age of Worms Adventure Path

A road of bones. A bustling city inside a dormant volcano. A vast, featureless ashen plain. A forgotten battle between good and evil.

I'm assuming the second is some sort of stylized representation of Cauldron, but any ideas for the others? My players are wondering.

Okay, the road is purportedly Iuz's Road of Skulls. But what's the plain? I went with Gray Wastes of Hades and, for the battle, Rary's betrayal of the Circle.
