Is there any way to make the assassin class legal?

As it stands, you need to be evil to take the PrC, but evil is banned in PFS.

So I am looking for a boon, weird rule, variant assassins, something to play a good assassin. Something along the lines of "Kill one to save many" sort of philosophy.

Master Spy is pretty much the same Prestige class with a little different Flavor.

boon went for over $300 I think, at GenCon 2 years ago. Was for charity, so only one in PFS.

Hyper rare Gencon charity boon iirc, so no chance for you.

Just make your own without the class. Its not like Pathfinders don't relocate a lot of artifacts after looting the bodies.

You should look at the Slayer class-they are able to get most of the assassin abilities.

Slayer or ninja, I believe they can both get pretty much the same death attack ability plus much of the same flavor. Slayer even has an archetype or two that would probably be right up your alley.

I could go with slayer, but that is not quite the concept I was building towards.

Yes, Master Spy is similar, and in fact, I plan to slip into that PrC once I meet the reqs. However, with a 7 ranks in 2 skills needed, I have to wait till level 8.

The build plan was Swashbuckler 1/Ninja 4/Assassin 2/Master Spy till he retires, is killed or reaches 6(yes he should be retiring by that point). As assassin is not available, I will need to rework some things. Thanks all.

What is it you're looking for out of the two levels of Assassin? You can get basically all of it from ninja.

Mostly, Death Attack. Stacks with the Master Spy level (and I do not even get it if I have to go Swash 1/Ninja 6/Master Spy 5)

However, I also get Improved Uncanny Dodge, which I otherwise do not get at all. It is Ninja 8, which is past where I end up in my build.

I also get a small boost vs Poisons, and my Fort will not be great. Not a huge deal breaker this one, but every little bit helps. My will is not great either, but I have to take Iron Will anyway for Master Spy.

Concept will basically get put on the back burner unless I can find a way to get the Improved Uncanny Dodge and maybe death attack.
