RAW, I can't find where it says it does.
Mythic Smite (Su)
As a free action, you can expend one use of mythic power to regain one use of your smite evil ability. For the rest of your turn, your successful attacks against evil creatures bypass all damage reduction. You must have the smite evil class feature to select this ability.
Is it only for the rest of your turn? Does this ability seriously not give Paladins the ability to overcome DR/epic?

It lets you spend a free action and one of your mythic power uses to do the following:
1) You regain a smite evil ability.
2) For the rest of this turn, all your attacks against any evil creatures bypass any resistance regardless of type.
So, for example, your mythic Paladin has used up all of her smite evils for the day. She's surrounded by a horde of evil demons and sees their master in front of her. She uses her free action to activate Mythic Smite. She now has 1 smite evil for the day. She uses her a full round action to use her Whirlwind attack to attack each of the 8 demons surrounding her. All of her attacks bypass their damage resistance. Being awesome, she slays them all. She then uses her Smite Evil ability as a swift action against the big baddie in front of her.
