Help, Easter Eggs for my Campaign.

Advice

So i want to create or put some kind of Easter Eggs that brings flavour to the game, i'm currently running a Wrath of the Righteous AP, we're in Sword of Valor arriving to Drezen and i just want to bring creative random stuff that give them questions. I have already some ideas as the group likes World of Warcraft. There is also a Musician. Any idea would be appreciated, also there could be reference to popular culture.

Any ideas?

PD: I don't put the ideas i already have just in case the players see this.

Scarab Sages

I always like to have a pair of golden or silver pantaloons somewhere.

-In the game I am running right now actually my group met up with some of Pathfinder's iconics who were heading off to Sandpoint or whatever the start of Rise of the Runelords is. My players had a good laugh once they were talking to The Sorceress, not just an ordinary sorcerer.

-I like peddlers offering some recognizable items to players who pay special attention. In my last game I had one guy selling both the Lambent Configuration and the Bombernomicon. No one in my group could aford either item, so they of course stole them.

Hehehe perhaps including pictograms showing weird depictions of classic dungeons monsters like the beholder and the Illythid. Also would put a mirror in which they can see what is happening in Sigil (Planescape) but they are unable to teleport there, not even with Greater Teleport, As it will be in a blocked by powers bigger than their comprehension (cough, copyrights, cough)

All the players are video game players also, so classic references to any video game would be hilarious too. like "do a barrel roll" and "hey Listen" or "It's dangerous to go alone take this"

Lol how about good old Middle Earth, "the hobbits to isengard" "Blue wizard died" "Woman dwarf" Ring of Invisibility wielded by a halfling mongrel. nevermind those are too obvious xD "one does not simply"

I will definitely do a construct fight and engrave in a weird language this: “They call me Gato, I have metal joints. Beat me up and win 15 Silver Points.”

Bump?

I think it would be hilarious if you threw some Monty Python and the Holy Grail tidbits in there. Maybe drop hints of a demon poly morphed as a rabbit who's been slay droves of crusaders or a grave knight that guards a bridge...

Shadow Lodge

+1 for the addition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. (quest for the Shrubbery, a black knight guarding a creek . .)

Also Gamers and The Gamers: Dorkness Rising are good sources.

The trick with a good easter egg is finding something the player's will know (and like/love), and weaving it into the location/setting.
Any Movie, TV series, youtube video, game (elder scrolls, dragon age, etc), book (+ 1 for Game of Thrones Easter egg), etc will be good if your players know it.
If you've played with them before, their old characters, old NPC's, things they did having a wider effect, are gold.
